Note Bridge privacy policy

Effective date: September 6, 2026

What Note Bridge collects

When you create an account, Note Bridge collects your email address and authentication information. When you use sync, it stores your note data. Synced note titles and contents are encrypted by the app before upload; the database also stores note IDs and timestamps.

How your data is used

Your email address is used to create and secure your account. Your notes are used to provide synchronization across your devices. Note Bridge does not sell your personal information or use note content for advertising.

Service providers and security

Note Bridge uses Supabase for authentication, database storage, and related hosting services. Data sent between the app and the service uses HTTPS. Notes are also stored in the app's encrypted local database on your device. No security measure can guarantee absolute security, but reasonable measures are used to protect your data.

Retention and deletion

Your account and synced notes are retained while your account is active. You can delete them from the account menu in the app or through the public account deletion page. Deletion removes the Supabase Auth account, synced notes, local notes, and encrypted session data. Some limited records may remain temporarily in backups or logs and will be removed according to the service provider's retention processes.

Download your data

You can download a JSON copy of your local and synced notes from the app's account menu, or request a copy of synced notes from the public data export page. The web export requires your account email, password, and note-encryption secret. Your password is sent directly to Supabase Auth for sign-in; the encryption secret is used only in your browser to decrypt notes and is not sent to Supabase. Web exports include synced notes, including notes marked deleted, but cannot include local-only notes from your devices.

Children's privacy

Note Bridge is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
